Corporate Volunteering
There are many different opportunities for corporate groups to volunteer at Wesley Mission Melbourne.

From storeroom to supermarket Angela and Kim from Heinz helped to transform the food storage area at Wesley Footscray Outreach from a cluttered, crowded storeroom, to an easily accessible and visually appealing ‘supermarket’.

The volunteers made better use of the space by moving shelves and sorting the items into categories based on the cooking facilities required and ensured most popular items were easily accessible around eye height.

Angela and Kim completed this huge job in just one day.

Staff and regular volunteers at WFO now have a well-ordered ‘supermarket’ where clients can select items they need.

A huge thank you to Angela, Kim and Heinz for making this possible.
