 Lifeline is a program of Wesley Mission Victoria. We have been at the forefront of crisis support in Australia. since 1963. We draw on this knowledge and research, and take a holistic approach to working with the complex and varied needs of contemporary society.
The Training and Education Team is divided into three categories:

It takes a lot of dedicated people to provide Lifeline's 13 11 14 telephone crisis support services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, across Australia. Lifeline relies on over 11,000 Volunteers nation wide. Volunteers have enabled Lifeline to provide essential crisis support services to the Australian community since 1963.
As a Lifeline volunteer you undertake study in a Certificate IV in Telephone Counselling Skills. Applications are now open for semester 2/2012. Please note 2nd semester is day training, refer to the training calendar provided.
There are limited training places for the Certificate IV. At times we receive more applications than places available which might require us to close our application process. We will advise you if this occurs on the website, we encourage you to view the website for any changes when submitting your application.
