Who Cares?
Who Cares? is a puppet theatre production, available for purchase on DVD, produced by residents of Wesley Aged Care Housing Services. It communicates their concerns and feelings about privacy, lack of money, dignity and respect in residential care. The DVD was the culmination of a three year advocacy project that aimed to provide residents of a disadvantaged background with skills to speak out and have more say in the running of the service. It is their own ‘Charter of Rights’ – tongue in cheek style.
For more information or to purchase a copy of the DVD please contact Wesley Aged Care Housing Services on (03) 9354 9155.
The Challenge of the City - The Centenary History of Wesley Central Mission 1893-1993
The contribution of the Mission to debates about philanthropy, and about the relationship of church, society and cities.
Copies of this book can be purchased from Wesey Mission Melbourne.
Cost: $15 + GST (postage charges apply)
To order: email fundraising@wesley.org.au or contact Reception at Wesley Mission Melbourne on phone (03) 9662 2355.
