Baby Needs appeal

Throughout May Wesley Mission Melbourne asked Melbournians to dig deep once again and donate to our Baby Needs Appeal 2009. The aim of the appeal was to collect donations for the young children and infants of people accessing Wesley’s homelessness and support services.

The appeal collected over $30,000 worth of donations that will be distributed directly to people in need that access Wesley’s services. Thousands of Australians turn to Wesley for the essentials required to help care for their babies and infants - food, bottles, disposable nappies and wipes.

“Wesley’s Homelessness and Support Services assists more than 13,000 people per year who require material aid and/or emergency accommodation. Many of these families have babies and infants, and require additional support to help care for them,” Ms McKay said. Find out more here >>

Gifts that make a difference in Melbourne

If you are looking for a meaningful gift that makes a real difference, look no further. Wesley Giftshare is a special way to support people and families experiencing homelessness in Melbourne.

With gifts starting from just $10, Wesley Giftshare is a wonderful way for you and your friend, relative or business associate to help the 13,000 homeless and disadvantaged children and adults that Wesley Mission Melbourne assists every year.

To show how both of you have made a difference you will receive an e-card or gift card that explains the gift you are giving them. You can then give or send this card with your own personal message to your friend or relative instead of (or in addition to) a present.

Our trained support workers use the gift to assist a person or family that accesses our homelessness services.
