What is Woody's Murray to Moyne bicycle relay?
Woody’s Murray to Moyne is a 24 hour bike relay where teams cycle 520km from Echuca to Port Fairy to raise money for their chosen health related organisation.

Wesley Mission Melbourne has entered a team for the past two years. In 2006 the Wesley team raised over $11,000 for Wesley Youth Services and Wesley Kids Under Kanvas. In 2007 the Wesley team raised $20,000 and have set up a 'Grant a Wish' fund for clients of our programs.

The 2008 Wesley Mission Melbourne Murray to Moyne team included staff, volunteers and their family and friends from many Wesley programs.

So far the team has raised over $10,000 for the Wesley ‘grant a wish’ fund. Wesley programs can apply to this fund on behalf of their clients to help make their wish come true. This could be anything from visiting a family member interstate to helping purchase equipment or lessons to participate in music or sporting activities.
