| Why Volunteer at Wesley |
![]() Volunteering is a great way to make a difference and be involved in your community. Wesley Mission Victoria relies on the valuable support of 1,600 volunteers throughout Victoria who help us everyday to create an Australia where all belong.
Our volunteers are of all ages, and come from different cultural backgrounds and professions. If you are committed to working alongside people in our community, that are experiencing disadvantage and marginalisation, then have a look at the volunteer positions available.
> Disability > Homelessness and Crisis > Children, Youth and Family > Employment Services > Social Enterprises
Depending on the nature of the volunteer role there are few requirements that we ask of our volunteers:
> Minimum age to volunteer is 16 years (limited position available due to police checks) > Many volunteer positions require a police check. You must be over 18 years old. > A Working With Children Check is required of all volunteers working with children and young people > Some positions will require a driver's licence.
You can register your interest online to join our growing team of volunteers.
Let us know which area suits you best, tell us of your availability and interests and we'll be sure to get back to you with suggestions on how you can help.
