A carer is a person who, through family relationship or friendship, looks after a person who has a disability or a chronic illness.

How does the program work?

Wesley offers a range of individual and group respite options. Our aim is to provide flexible respite options to assist carers as well as to provide an enjoyable experience for the person who is using the respite service.

Our respite options support people with a range of support needs and interests and include:

> Day respite
> Overnight respite
> In-home respite
> Recreational respite, including camps

Our respite services are provided by trained staff and volunteers who aim to build trust and rapport with carers to enable them to continue their ongoing caring role.
