The Wesley Lifeline Training Unit (WLLTU) is a busy and productive team of professionals providing high quality training and professional development to Lifeline Staff and Volunteers, as well as delivering training to external organisations and contributing to the wider functioning of the Youth, Homelessness & Counselling Directorate of Wesley Mission Melbourne. Experience designing and delivering training packages relevant to the provision of telephone counselling services is essential. This is an exciting period of expansion for the WLLTU.

Wesley Do Care Social Support Coordinator (Frankston) Part time – 30.6 to 34 hours per week
Wesley Do Care is a volunteer-supported program that works with socially isolated, frail older people, adults with a disability and carers in its Social Support Service.
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic coordinator to join our small friendly and supportive team. This position is based in Dandenong.
You will be responsible for assessing, reviewing and matching client’s on a one to one basis or group activity, as well as volunteer recruitment, training and supervision. An interest in working with small groups in a social context is important.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in human services, driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle are essential.

Receptionist/Administration Assistant Full Time Dandenong Hub

Wesley Mission Melbourne is a not for profit organisation which provides innovative services that support disadvantaged people to live meaningful lives. We have a full-time vacancy for an experienced receptionist at our Dandenong Hub location.
This unique role combines reception for Wesley Disability Services Southern, Wesley Disability Community Services and Wesley Do Care Southern. Ideally you will have a passion for interacting with people face to face and over the telephone, exceptional organisation, time management and administration skills. You will be passionate about making a difference and enjoy contact with people from diverse backgrounds.
Previous experience in a community service organisation would be an advantage.
A Police Records Check will be required.

Team Leader
Wesley Disability Support Southern
Residential Services
Wesley Disability Support Southern is a program of Wesley Mission Melbourne providing accommodation and support to adults with intellectual disabilities in the Southern region of Melbourne.
We are currently seeking an experienced, dynamic and committed Team Leader for a position located in the Frankston area. The successful applicant will lead a small team of staff to work with residents with varied needs to support them to achieve their goals in life.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Qualifications in Disability Studies (Certificate IV or higher) and demonstrated experience working in accommodation services for people with an intellectual disability.
- Demonstrated commitment to the rights and dignity of people with an intellectual disability.
- Current Victorian driver’s licence and a satisfactory police records check.
- Understanding of the Disability Act 2006.
This is a permanent position of 60+ hours per fortnight, involving shiftwork and sleepovers. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Residential and Support Services Award.
